Sunday was a bit of a crazy day, and by the end I was wilting. However, it was one of the funnest days we have had this Autumn. My day started making our usual breakfast wraps and an egg for the babe, which she inhaled. Then I went off to the Cord office to finish up my pages for print. Took a bit longer than I would have hoped, but I finished (although some items were still on the way, I didn't have to be there to drop them in). By the time I was done I was ready for the fun family adventure we had planned and the weather was beautiful. My husband and the little one picked me up and we headed to meet my sister-in-law, her husband, and their kids at the Butterfly Conservatory in Cambridge. This plan had been in the works for a while, and we were excited for it to finally be here. When we met up with them the little one was happy to see her cousins, and young uncle, and was showing off the walking skills she had developed since seeing them last. They LOVED chasing her around and showing her the pinned butterflies as we waited to go into the actual conservatory.
Yes, the run is this SUNDAY! My friend and I were able to run 30 minutes yesterday, went 3 km, with the babe in her stroller (weight training). So I think we will be able to do the run no problem; plus it's a fun run, and the guys will be with us. But we were so impressed, having never run three months ago when we started our training. Yay us! Will post a photo of me covered in colours!
P.S. Check out more beautiful butterfly photos in the photograph section. Also, don't the turtles in the first photo look like they are in the middle of a conversation :D
