I was just so impressed with the whole thing. For the price, it was the most food we have ever received at a tea (the only dessert I could fit was the cupcake, and only cause my daughter wanted to know where I was sorted). The food was so delicious, the pumpkin spice scone (the only one I could fit after the sandwiches) was warm and amazing. The sandwiches were filling and delectable. I think my favourite dessert turned out to be the golden snitch pumpkin bite (a truffle) which was full of flavour, rich with the taste of pumpkin, and the icing around kept the inside ooey-gooey. Although, it was hard to choose as I enjoyed them all (I think my daughter's favourite was the cookie). Fun fact about the sorting hat cupcake, the hat is made out of tootsie rolls...so creative! My Black Forest Gateau tea was blended well, and tasted very strongly of chocolate and cherries (so, yum), turns out it was my daughter's favourite of the three teas as well. Plus, the wand for the kids tea was a beautiful touch and a wonderful surprise. We were also asked to fill out ballots, as they had a door prize basket filled with Harry Potter goodies (we unfortunately did not win).
This was my favourite tea to date and I will be keeping an eye out as The Secret Garden Tea House also has a Christmas themed tea coming up in December (maybe that could be my mom's birthday gift, a little early). We also happened upon a sculpture display taking place throughout Elora for Halloween. I will post another blog about that, because it was too cool to just throw on the end of this one. P.S. check out my Hufflepuff nails (the house I was sorted in to by Pottermore). I wore yellow and black to represent, and my daughter went dressed as Luna Lovegood (yes, my daughter is adorable and amazing, and I am not immune to boasting about her).

Looks really cool and entertaining. Nice that they went all out for the themed tea. A Christmas one sounds wonderful :)
