We made it to Elora, and found a great park for the kids to play in (mostly to be able to feed a bottle to the babe). Had swings, slides and a small splash pad. Took a cute family photo where we were each on a swing (two baby swings, 2 kid swings).
After the park, we walked to the Information Centre to use the bathroom and grab a map, only to find out our favourite trail was closed down. So, we opted for the next best thing, a hike along the Lover's Leap trail in Victoria Park. Was a nice walk for the kids, easy going, much easier than our hike on Mont Tremblant. Although, the fencing is quite low, a little nerve wracking when taking our four year old along the path. We had fun staging some books for my bookstagram account (@onemamareads), and enjoyed the lookout. Happened upon a zip-line company packing up, and our ever inquisitive daughter went over to ask what they were doing.
We strolled around Elora, one of my favourite towns to shop, for the remainder of the day. It's beautiful, and Jammed Lovely is there! Found a wonderful card and gift for some friends. The store's new location is so great, so big and spacious for checking out all of the amazing finds. I was tempted to buy all the tea stuff, had to stop myself. Also, purchased a slushie for the wee girl at Sweet Distractions, which we had to share as it was huge. Left her teeth red, haha. We sat at the little park on the main strip, a beautiful space with lots of seating and sculptures galore. I especially like the giant pointing down, reminds me of the BFG.
When our tummy's started to rumble, we made our way over to the Elora Brewing Company (which we have wanted to try since it opened a couple year's ago). We finally made it there, yay!
