The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We originally asked for the food to go, as our daughter wasn't feeling well...but then she asked to sit and eat. We got a quiet corner, near the back and enjoyed our food. My husband ordered the Hades: fresh beef patty, roasted red peppers, jalapeños, chipotle bacon sauce, lettuce, and tomato. Tried a bit and it was good, perfect amount of hot for him. For our daughter we got an Argonaut: a build your own mini 3oz beef patty burger, with bacon, tomato and ketchup. We also ordered sweet potato fries (YUM!) and two milkshakes. These milkshakes were top notch, a chocolate raspberry cheesecake for the wee girl (which she said tasted like cookies, but meant that she loved it), where I purchased the French Vanilla, rich and smooth and refreshing all in one.
Great place and great people. Worth the visit to Port Hope. Love the Greek mythos behind it as well, very smart. The next few posts will be about our trip, once we arrived in Prince Edward County (#TheCounty).
