I did a Take 5, while in the immense crowds waiting to enter, and found I wasn't bothered at all (I usually dread crowds). We got to our seats just as the game was beginning, and had a fantastic time with our friends. Even though the Jays lost, what a once in a lifetime event, we were glad we took the chance to go.
The MindWell Challenge is really helping to alleviate stress from my life. In the past, I would have worried about getting to the game with such short time frames, I would have worried about leaving the kids with my mom (especially a baby just learning to eat solids), I would have worried about the expense of the game and the last minute decision to go. I am a planner, for me spontaneity is an oddity; I like/need to know ahead of time what we are doing, so I can plan for all eventualities...this is part of my introvert personality. I am feeling more confident each day, more rested, and more present with my kids, and it's only been a week. Impressed!
