A suggested collaboration was accepted with open arms by the museum, allowing it to be hosted at their venue, with access to the new Exhibit included. If you have a chance, go to the second event in the series (November 5), which will be holiday themed. Our first course was accompanied with information from Beer Cicerone, Justin Lamontagne. He is a fantastic speaker, having a background in the dramatic arts, and works for the craft beer arm of Molson Coors (Six Pints Specialty Beer Company). Before our first course was served we learned about the process of how beer came to be. Which included women being the first brewers, having planted yeast in the ground and later after rain and sun finding it to be foaming, then drinking it. From there they harvested and brewed and beer came to be. When he was done, the Chef, Sarah McMurphy from Wildcraft, came out to explain the first course. These courses were created by the minds at Beertown, who offered servers to help that evening.
