They were both asleep, as we heard they probably would be. We were able to see the face of the one inside, the one outside decided to sleep with his or her head pressed into a rock (which looked not in the least bit comfortable, but what do I know). I was glad we went at the end of the day when there were no lines, as the disappointment would have been huge if I had been waiting more than an hour for what we did witness. Although, I was glad we went, as they are something entirely different and they are only here for a short while. Also, what a huge culturally significant gesture for China to allow Canada to host these two pandas for five years.

Thanks, Nicole. I recommend going to the zoo for any animal lover, especially those with little ones who would also love it.
