This was a very fun evening! I loved looking at each individual painter's piece, as we all had the same reference, but each one had its own uniqueness that really brought out the personality of the person who created it.
I really recommend trying this out with friends, if you have a chance. You do not need to be a painter, in fact no painting experience is required. You just need to come and have fun. In the end you can either copy the painting the instructor is doing, or do your own thing. Erin was a great instructor, who managed to coach each of us into creating a piece that looked generally like the one on display. Paint Nite can be found in several cities in Ontario, so check it out! They also do event nights (hen parties, corporate team building, etc.). I plan on going back, and maybe dragging some good friends or family along. My signed piece was approved as being "beautiful" by the babe, and is now sitting on a floating shelf in her room.
