My husband recently signed up for airbnb, and when looking for a place to stay in Prince Edward County we used our app. This place, South in Milford, was reasonably priced, and included continental breakfast. We opted for it, and we were pleasantly surprised. The school was transformed recently into this hotel, and has been restored nicely with lots of space for our kids to play around (read an article all about the family and space from the Globe and Mail here). Our little one loved the still functioning chalk board. The beds were big, and we both chose one kid to share with. I got the wee boy of course, in case he needed feeding in the night.
They also included some yummy organic oatmeal, yogurt, and homemade granola (which we could not get enough of, and took extra home for topping on yogurt).
Very sound proof (it being an old school), great outdoor space, little kitchenette, lots of natural light with all of those windows, all very useful when you are staying with young kids. It was the perfect getaway spot for us, and the owners are very friendly (the wife runs her own blog). If we venture that way again we would definitely stay there. Great first airbnb experience.
