I only made six of these, for the women in the office. For the two men I made cookies in tins, as I wasn't sure they would want lip gloss. Toiled away making the peanut butter cookies; made the batter for the chocolate chip cookies, but then my husband was kind enough to handle the baking of them, while I went about making the jars. Took until midnight, but I only have one jar left for our Daycare worker (which will be a little different, as it will be a hot chocolate theme without the gloves and with more chocolate and marshmallows). Also, going to try to make bacon crack, for both the tins and wrapped in parchment paper, with ribbons, to go with the jars. Yum!
I also made the design on the front of the jar, which was fun to do!

The crisp smell of freshly cleaned ice, the sharp sound of wood hitting rubber, and the intense feeling of being invested, with half an arena full of people, in a team you know hasn't had the best track record. That was how my husband and I spent Wednesday, December 10. We went across the border, into Detroit, to watch our home team the Toronto Maple Leafs take on the Detroit Red Wings. It was cheaper to get a hotel room in Windsor, bus tickets through the tunnel, and tickets to the game for the both of us, than it would have been just for tickets to see Toronto play a home game at the Air Canada Centre. It's nuts!
