After the Ballet, we decided to go out for dinner and walked around for a bit before settling on Bannock. There was a bit of a wait while they switched to their dinner setting, but we finally were able to sit down. They had a kids prix fixe menu (I believe it was the Sugar Plum menu), which was perfect for my daughter. I ordered her the grilled cheese, which came with an ice cream sandwich for dessert (which we had to take most of home, because portion sizing here is insane). I also ordered her a red and white lemonade, and myself a sangria (as it was on special). Mostly, so we could cheers each other. My mom and I ordered off the regular menu, and we were not disappointed. While it's quite expensive, the food was mouth watering. The gnocchi I ordered was over the top delicious. Smooth, creamy, with sweet potato mixed in, wow! My mom ordered the BLT, which came with pork belly bacon. It was HUGE! She had to take half to go, which my husband later appreciated (especially taking care of a sick little guy at home, as my son seemed to have caught the flu that morning). With dinner done, we took a brief tour of Downtown Toronto; mostly to see the amazing window displays, I mean see them below (mind blown)...and they were all animatronic! We also took a walk through the Eaton Centre and stopped in at the Disney store for my little one. She loves it there, I mean she could spend hours there looking at each item if you don't drag her out. It was such a lovely afternoon and evening spent with two of my favourite ladies.
